Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Pacific Beach Crash at Loring and Soledad Mountain
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 15, 2022) – A crash critically injured a motorcyclist at Loring Street and Soledad Mountain Road in Pacific Beach.
According to an article published by the ABC 10 News, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:20 p.m.
San Diego police said the motorcycle rider and a van collided for an unknown reason in the Pacific Beach neighborhood. The two crashed at the intersection Loring Street and Soledad Mountain Road.
Motorcycle and Van Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who sustained severe head trauma as a result of the collision.
Paramedics then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police did not mention if the driver of the van ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the Pacific Beach crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Loring and Soledad Mountain to shut down after the incident.
