Woman, 21, Hit By Car Suffers Head Injury
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2023) — A Pacific Beach pedestrian accident happened Saturday night on Mission Boulevard at Thomas Avenue in San Diego County.
The major injury collision occurred at around 10 p.m. on Oct. 28th, according to the Times of San Diego.
A driver struck a 21-year-old woman who was allegedly walking in a westbound direction against a traffic light signal as she crossed Mission Boulevard in Pacific Beach, police said.
A driver in a 2013 Volkswagen Bug was heading southbound when they hit the young woman, the San Diego Police Department said.
The crash left the young woman with a fractured skull and brain bleed. Paramedics rushed her to a hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries, police said.
