1 Injured in Pacific Hit-and-Run Crash at Bristol and Pershing Avenues
EL DORADO COUNTY, CA (October 3, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Bristol Avenue and Pershing Avenue in Pacific.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Saturday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 2:30 p.m.
CHP said a gray Ford and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in the Pacific community on October 2. The two crashed at the intersection of Bristol and Pershing avenues.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the University of the Pacific. They found an occupant of the Ford who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident. The report did not release the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to render aid and fled at a high rate of speed. Officers forced the area of Bristol and Pershing avenues to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Pacific hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
