2 Seriously Injured in Pacifica Crash at Highway 1 and Rockaway Beach Avenue
PACIFICA, CA (November 9, 2021) – Two were seriously injured after a crash at Highway 1 and Rockaway Beach Avenue in Pacifica.
According to The Mercury News and CBS San Francisco, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 2:15 p.m.
Pacific police said a box truck and four other cars collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Highway 1 and Rockaway Beach Avenue.
Box Truck, Cars Collide
One of the vehicles involved then caught fire upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found two people hurt.
Both victims sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed the patients to area hospitals and listed one of them in critical condition.
The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties. Meanwhile, police forced the area of Highway 1 and Rockaway Beach to shut down following the wreck.
