Pregnant Woman Hospitalized After Collision on Interstate 5 Freeway Thursday
Pacoima, CA (September 17, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Interstate 5, also known as Golden Street Freeway.
2-Car Accident in Pacoima, September 16
On September 16, Thursday two vehicles collided in the northbound side of the freeway. The crash took place near the crossing at State Route Highway 118.
The California Highway Patrol group reported one of the cars involved in the accident was occupied by a pregnant woman. Shortly after 4:20 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Paramedics immediately attended to the pregnant woman.
Our sources indicated emergency crews rushed the female party to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Several factors surrounding the car accident in Pacoima have not been discussed thus far. Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon to investigate exactly how and why the collision happened.
