PACOIMA, California (April 4, 2016) –– A driver exiting the Interstate 5 Freeway towards the 118 Ronald Reagan connector, veered off the freeway and crashed into the Richie Valens Park at Laurel Canyon Boulevard, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The SUV overturned and hit a pole. People were trapped temporarily inside the vehicle, but bystanders were there to help the parities involved get out of the vehicle.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help those who were injured, but there were few details available a press time.
