Minor Injury Collision at Santa Cruz County Intersection
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (July 23, 2023) — A two-vehicle crash happened early Tuesday morning at San Andreas Road and Beach Road in the Pajaro Dunes, just south of Watsonville in Santa Cruz County.
The collision occurred at around 6:16 a.m. on July 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported both vehicles wound up off road about 10 feet into a ditch and one of the vehicles also crashed into a post.
The occupants managed to exit their vehicles, but smoke was coming from one of them and the horn was stuck on a vehicle.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person reporting minor injuries and tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the scene.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on San Andreas Road.
