Palermo Honcut Highway Collision
PALERMO, Calif. (July 22, 2021) — A Palermo Honcut Highway accident involving two motorists happened Thursday afternoon near South Villa Avenue.
The drivers of a Nissan Versa and a white Chevrolet S10 pickup truck collided about 1:46 p.m. on July 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Chevrolet S10 pickup truck also overturned onto its side during the collision. The circumstances leading to the crash are unknown at this time, but liability will be determined.
Additionally, firefighters and paramedics responded to help the injured. The report indicated the injuries are minor. Also, one person got transported to Oroville Hospital for further treatment. Police did not mention the age, gender or identity of either of the motorists involved in the collision.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both vehicles from the accident scene due to heavy damage.
Finally, CHP traffic investigators seek to determine liability for the Palermo Honcut Highway accident.
Witnesses may contact the CHP officials to help them with the investigation.
