2 Injured in Palm Desert Car Crash on Highway 111 Friday
PALM DESERT (July 20, 2018) – Two were hospitalized after a traffic collision along Highway 111 on Friday afternoon, according to Riverside County Fire Department.
The accident was reported at about 4:57 p.m.
A statement released online by Riverside County Fire Department / Cal Fire said for an unknown reason three vehicles collided on Highway 111 at El Paseo. KESQ News the cars crashed on the highway at Town Center Way.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the wreckage upon impact. A total of two parties were hurt as a result of the wreck.
The two patients were taken by ground ambulances to area hospitals to be treated for minor injuries. Their names and condition at this time were not immediately disclosed.
Meanwhile, a third individual involved was unharmed in the collision. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
