2 Injured in Palm Desert Crash Near Hovley Lane and Cook Street
PALM DESERT, CA (May 6, 2022) – A car crash left two people injured near Hovley Lane and Cook Street in Palm Desert.
According to an article published by the KESQ News, the accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 7 p.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Palm Desert. They crashed near the intersection of Hovley Lane and Cook Street.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated one trapped occupant from the wreckage. The rescued person sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
CAL FIRE added that a juvenile survived the incident with minor injuries. Medical personnel then took the patients to a hospital for treatment.
The names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Hovley and Cook to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Palm Desert crash is still under investigation.
