1 Injured in Palm Crash Washington Street and Country Club Drive
PALM DESERT, CA (June 30, 2021) – A car crash injured one person near Washington Street and Country Club Drive in Palm Desert.
According to The Desert Sun and KESQ News, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:38 a.m.
Three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Palm Springs. They crashed near the intersection of Washington Street and Country Club Drive.
One of the vehicles involved is owned by the Ocean Springs Tech pool company. It was carrying several different pool chemicals at the time.
Three Vehicles Collide, Chemical Spill Reported
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers shut down County Club in both directions between Harris Lane and Washington for several hours due to a chemical spill.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Palm Desert crash.
