PALM DESERT, California (July 27, 2017) —  A suspected DUI driver crashed into another vehicle Wednesday causing it to overturn on Monterey Avenue, just north of Country Club Drive, according to the Palm Desert Police Department.

The 2:27 p.m. crash was allegedly caused by Danny Gurule, 32, of Whitewater. He was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata when he slammed into the center median, lost control of the vehicle and struck a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
