Cibola, Arizona Man ID’d as Victim Killed in Motorcycle Crash
PALM DESERT, California (August 30, 2016) – A motorcyclist identified as John Whiteside, 69, of Cibola, Arizona, died in a collision at Frank Sinatra Drive and Cook Street on Tuesday afternoon, according to The Press-Enterprise.
The crash took place at 1:34 p.m., about a mile south of the Interstate 10 Freeway.
As per the article, initial reports by sheriff’s traffic department said that the motorcycle rider identified as John Whiteside was going west when at the same time an SUV was traveling westbound.
The SUV then made a left turn as the victim approached the intersection. The two then collided.
Deputies affirmed that Whiteside suffered fatal injuries following the accident.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
