PALM DESERT, California (April 9, 2014) – A motorcyclists was injured Wednesday night when his bike crashed into the back of a car on the Monterey Avenue onramp to the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 8:02 p.m., CHP officers responded to the crash and found the male motorcyclist with his leg pinned underneath his bike. He was not moving upon their arrival.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured motorcycle rider by ambulance to Desert Hospital where he is being treated for moderate injuries.
“Hopefully this rider has a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Police will issue a report assigning liability for the accident.
