2 Killed, 2 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 111 Friday
Palm Springs, CA (May 21, 2021) – Two people died, and two others suffered injuries following a car crash on Highway 111 Friday evening.
The KESQ News reported a single-vehicle rolled over for an unknown reason on SR-111 at Overture Drive. According to the article published online, the catastrophic incident took place just east of Interstate 10 exit in Whitewater.
Shortly after 8 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the location and found an overturned car. Initial records indicated responding medical personnel found four parties in the wreckage.

Authorities confirmed two people sadly died as a result of the collision. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased parties remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the other two parties reportedly sustained injuries from the accident. The names of the victims, and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the fatal car crash in Palm Springs happened.
