Palm Springs crash Highway 111 Angel
1 Killed, 2 Injured in Palm Springs Crash on Highway 111 Near Angel Canyon
PALM SPRINGS, CA (November 18, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured two others on Highway 111 near Angel Canyon in Palm Springs.
According to The Desert Sun and KESQ News, the tragic accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:10 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said two pickup trucks collided for an unknown reason in Palm Springs. The cars crashed on Highway 111 near Angel Canyon.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene, south of the Interstate 10 exit. They confirmed that a man died as a result of the collision.
Two children ended up hurt following the accident. One child sustained major injuries while the other survived the incident with minor injuries.
Medical personnel then rushed both victims to the hospital for treatment. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of Highway 111 to shut down at Gateway Drive after the wreck. The cause of the fatal Palm Springs crash is still under investigation.
