Man Killed in Palm Springs Crash on North Indian Canyon Drive Friday
PALM SPRINGS (January 11, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident along North Indian Canyon Drive Friday evening, according to KESQ News.
The collision was reported at around 6:30 p.m., north of 19th Avenue.
As per the article, Palm Springs police said a male pedestrian was walking along North Indian Canyon Drive when for an unknown reason he was struck by a vehicle.
The car, described as a silver Ford SUV, was traveling southbound on Indian Canyon Drive when it hit the man.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the site and found the victim lying unresponsive in the roadway as a result of the crash. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the Ford SUV stopped after the crash and cooperated with the authorities.
North Indian Canyon Drive was forced to shut down between 18th and 19th avenues due to the incident. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
