PALM SPRINGS, California (March 11, 2016) — Monica Flores, 32, of Indio died Thursday night roughly three days after she was injured in a car crash on North Indian Canyon Drive where the vehicle went over the side of the roadway, according to a Riverside County Sheriff Coroner report.
The crash was reported about 1:21 a.m. on March 6 roughly 100 feet off the roadway near Via Escuela. Paramedics transported the injured woman to Desert Regional Medical Center where she later died last night at 10:35 p.m.
The Palm Springs Police Department is heading up the investigation into the crash to determine liability.
