Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Palm Springs Crash at Farrell Drive and Via Escuela
PALM SPRINGS, CA (August 20, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Farrell Drive and Via Escuela in Palm Springs.
According to the KESQ News and Patch, the accident took place on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck on August 18 at around 8:20 p.m.
The incident happened when a white pickup truck hit the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason in Palm Springs. Police said the two collided at the intersection of North Farrell Drive and East Via Escuela.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist lying unresponsive on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Farrell Drive and Via Escuela to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Palm Springs crash is still under investigation.
