Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Palm Springs Crash at Indian Canyon and Racquet Club
PALM SPRINGS, CA (September 14, 2021) – A motorcyclist was critically injured after a crash at Indian Canyon Drive and Racquet Club Road in Palm Springs.
According to the NBC Palm Springs and KESQ News, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:50 p.m.
Palm Springs police said the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of North Indian Canyon Drive and East Racquet Club Road.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground. The patient sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the victim to a nearby hospital and listed them in critical condition. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the other driver ended up unharmed following the crash. Officers forced the area of Indian Canyon and Racquet Club to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the Palm Springs crash is still under investigation.
