PALM SPRINGS, California (January 3, 2017) –A pedestrian was seriously injured Monday night when they were struck by a driver at East San Rafael Drive and South Sunrise Way in Palm Springs, according to the Press Enterprise.
The victim was struck about 6 p.m. and then taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The Palm Springs Police Department had to divert traffic at the intersection. They are also heading up the investigation into the crash to determine liability. It’s unknown whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision.
