Multi-Vehicle Collision Near East Barrels Springs Road
Palmdale, CA (June 25, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on State Route Highway 14 later Wednesday evening.
According to CBS News, multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the highway near East Barrels Springs Road. Earlier reports indicated the wreck involved three or more cars.
Rescue teams arrived at the crash site shortly after 11:15 p.m. First responders found two automobiles fully engulfed in flames, and a third vehicle overturned with wheels in the air.

Medical personnel immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the accident. After the evaluation, officials confirmed two parties sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics rushed the two patients to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Authorities continue to withhold the names of the injured people pending confirmation.
Police reportedly arrested one person at the scene of the incident. Additional details on the suspect taken into custody have not been revealed thus far.
