PALMDALE, Calif. (June 13, 2023) — A multi-vehicle Palmdale crash on the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway happened Tuesday, just south of Mountain Springs Road.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes around 7 a.m. on June 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The drivers of a white Toyota Prius, a white Ford Fiesta, a black Toyota SUV and a black Toyota RAV4 SUV collided in the southbound lanes of State Route 14.
The Prius apparently went over the side of the freeway and down an embankment. Meanwhile, the other vehicles were blocking traffic lanes.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and located at least one person with injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the Prius with left-side damage and the Fiesta with front-end damage.
Investigators are piecing together what happened to determine fault for the Palmdale crash on the Antelope Valley Freeway.
