Multi-Vehicle Collision on Sierra Highway in Palmdale
PALMDALE, Calif. (Oct. 22, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Tuesday in Palmdale on Sierra Highway at Angeles Forest Highway.
The collision occurred at the off-ramp from the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway around 5:51 a.m. on Oct. 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Palmdale Sheriff’s Office reported five vehicles were involved and police had to shut down Sierra Highway and divert traffic off the freeway on another off ramp.
Paramedics responded to help those injured, but there are no further details at this time.
Meanwhile, at least two of the vehicles were heavily damaged and required tow trucks.
It’s unknown at this time what led to the collision, but the case remains under investigation.
