1 Killed, 1 Injured in Palmdale Crash Near 30th Street West and Montera Avenue

PALMDALE, CA (July 3, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured another near 30th Street West and Montera Avenue in Palmdale.

According to an article published by The Antelope Valley Times, the tragic accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 2:25 p.m.

The incident happened on July 2 when a white Porsche Cayenne was going south on 30th Street West in Palmdale. At the same time, a green Ford Mustang was traveling north.

The Palmdale Sheriff’s Station said the Mustang then made a left turn onto Montera Avenue. In the process, the two cars collided.

2 Cars Collide in Palmdale

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced the 65-year-old man driving the Mustang dead at the scene.

The driver of the Porsche, a 49-year-old Palmdale man, sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.

Meanwhile, deputies forced the area of 30th Street West and Montera Avenue to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Palmdale crash is still under investigation.
