1 Killed, 3 Injured in Palmdale Crash at 40th Street East and Avenue O

PALMDALE, CA (November 12, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured several others at 40th Street East and Avenue O in Palmdale.

According to an article published by the FOX 11 News, the tragic accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:56 p.m.

The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Palmdale. They crashed possibly head-on at the intersection of 40th Street East and East Avenue O.

The California Highway Patrol described one of the cars as a black Toyota. They added that two occupants became trapped inside a vehicle involved upon impact.

2 Vehicles Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and confirmed that one individual died. Three other people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then rushed the patients to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.

Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound and southbound lanes of 40th Street East to shut down for a time near Avenue O following the wreck.

The cause of the fatal Palmdale crash is still under investigation.
