1 Killed, 4 Injured in Palmdale Crash Near 50th Street East and Avenue N
PALMDALE, CA (March 27, 2022) – A head-on crash killed one person and injured several others near 50th Street East and Avenue N in Palmdale.
According to the KTLA News and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 11:25 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Palmdale. The cars crashed near the intersection of 50th Street East and Avenue N.
2 Cars Collide Head-On
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and extricated at least two trapped occupants from the wreckage. They soon pronounced one victim dead at the scene.
A total of four other people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed them to the hospital for treatment of various injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of 50th Street East and Avenue N to shut down for several hours following the incident.
The cause of the fatal Palmdale crash is still under investigation.
