2 Men Killed in Palmdale Crash Near Rancho Vista Boulevard and Cricket Lane
PALMDALE, CA (August 7, 2022) – A car crash near Rancho Vista Boulevard and Cricket Lane killed two people in Palmdale.
According to the KTLA News and My News LA, the tragic accident took place early Sunday. Officers reported the wreck at around 3:40 a.m.
The sheriff’s department said a dark-colored Dodge Ram 1500 and a white Chevrolet Silverado collided for an unknown reason in Palmdale.
2 Cars Collide
One of the pickup trucks drove into oncoming traffic and then slammed head-on into the other car. The two crashed near the intersection of Rancho Vista Boulevard and Cricket Lane.
Both vehicles obtained major damage as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced two men dead at the scene.
The names of the deceased parties have not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. The cause of the fatal Palmdale crash is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Rancho Vista and Cricket to shut down for a time following the wreck.
