Palmdale Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Challenger Way Near Avenue L-4

Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Challenger Way Tuesday

PALMDALE, Ca (July 1, 2020) – A pedestrian sadly passed away following a traffic accident on Challenger Way near Avenue L-4 Tuesday evening, according to the Antelope Valley Times.

At approximately 9:39 p.m., a male party reportedly walked while pulling a wagon across a dark section of Challenger Way.

Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Palmdale, June 30

A passing motorist driving a 1990 Honda Accord apparently failed to notice the pedestrian on time, and struck him. The collision resulted in fatal injuries to the unidentified man.

Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.

Per local news source, the driver of the Honda no signs of impairment or being under the influence at the time of the crash.

Investigators handling the case continue to determine liabilities in the deadly accident.
