PALMDALE, California (March 31, 2015) — Furniture fell off a vehicle and caused an injury accident between an SUV and a small car Tuesday morning on the northbound State Route Antelope Valley 14 Freeway at the Rancho Vista Boulevard off ramp, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
About 11:37 a.m., CHP officers responded to the crash between a grey Honda Accord sedan and a black Ford Explorer SUV. Police said there was furniture in the traffic lanes that caused the crash, but there were no further details provided. Paramedics responded and transported at least one person with injuries resulting from the accident.
“Hopefully those injured have a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson.
Police are investigating the crash to determine liability.
