1 Seriously Injured in Palmdale Crash on 14 Freeway at Sierra Highway
PALMDALE, CA (January 11, 2022) – A head-on crash seriously injured at least one person on the 14 Freeway and Sierra Highway in Palmdale.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the accident at about 5:55 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Palmdale. They crashed on the 14 Freeway at Sierra Highway.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log described one of the cars involved as a black Honda. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Palmdale crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced the 14 Freeway at Sierra Highway to shut down for more than one hour following the wreck.
