Crash Involves 2 Vehicles
PALO ALTO, SANTA CLARA COUNTY (April 3, 2016) – At least one person was hospitalized following a 2-car crash on southbound Highway 101 Sunday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 2:59 p.m. near North San Antonio Road.
Preliminary record stated that two vehicles—a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo and a white Jeep, were traveling on their respective lane ways when they suddenly slammed with each other.
The force from the impact concluded in the Chevrolet overturned on the roadway and the Jeep sustaining moderate damages, as mentioned in the CHP log.
At least one party suffered significant trauma. The CHP report noted a 35-year-old patient transported to a Stanford medical facility for treatment of sustained injuries from the smash.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation of the authorities.
