2 Injured in Collision on Embarcadero Road Friday
Palo Alto, CA (November 26, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a patrol vehicle occurred Friday morning on Embarcadero Road, the KTVU News reported.
Sideshow Ends in Major Car Accident in Palo Alro, November 26
Our sources indicated a police officer spied a sideshow that took place near the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve. Preliminary investigation revealed the sideshow involved four vehicles, including a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro.
When the routine patrol arrived at the east end of Embarcadero Road, the sideshow drivers fled the scene. Witnesses spotted the suspects heading west on Embarcadero Road.
Officials mentioned the Chevrolet Camaro ended up hitting the left front tire of a police vehicle canted to perform a U-turn. Due to the force from the impact, the suspect veered off the roadway and slammed into a tree. The accident took place in the 1900 block of Embarcadero Road.
Shortly after 1 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. First responders rendered aid to the occupants of the Chevrolet Camaro. The article published online mentioned the male driver and the female passenger both suffered major injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics rushed the patients to the hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
The officers involved in the collision appeared unharmed.
Further investigation on the car accident on Embarcadero Road in Palo Alto is ongoing.
