PALO ALTO (August 4, 2016)- According to the California Highway Patrol, Robert Dam, 28, of Milpitas, has been identified as the victim killed in a deadly motorcycle crash Thursday morning on the northbound Highway 101.
The incident which involved a Chevy Equinox, a gray commercial truck, and a motorcycle occurred at roughly 9:16 a.m.
Preliminary investigations disclose that Robert dam has been riding a 2013 Yamaha motorcycle before colliding with the Chevy Equinox.
The collision threw the 28-year-old man from his motorcycle and directly into the path of the big rig.
Dam sadly did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
CHP officials will investigate the collision as neither drugs nor alcohol were a contributing factor.
