Construction Worker Crushed by Bobcat
PALO ALTO (July 12, 2018)- According to the San Mateo Patch, a deadly construction accident left a worker dead Thursday morning on at the Bridgeway Church Preschool located on Middlefield Road.
The incident occurred at precisely 8:47 a.m., triggering the arrival of the Palo Alto Police Department.
According to the article, the worker who has not been identified was crushed to death by a Bobcat construction vehicle.
The incident allegedly took place in the parking lot of the church at 2400 Middlefield Road.
At this time, Cal/OSHA is investigating the incident. The California Occupational Safety and Health Agency determine whether safety codes were violated that could have prevented the death of the victim taking place in the workplace.
No further details have been provided as this story will be updated pending the release of the victim’s name.
