Fresno Man, 39, Killed in Crash Near Raisin City
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (June 28, 2022) — Pancho Sandoval, 39, of Fresno, died Friday morning in a crash with a semi-truck at Manning Avenue and Marks Avenue in the Raisin City area of Fresno County.
The collision occurred about 11 a.m. on Friday, June 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers say it happened just before 11 am Friday at the intersection of Manning and Marks, near Raisin City.
Police report the man driving a truck allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle collided with a big rig in the intersection.
The motorist identified as Pancho Sandoval died from his injuries. The Fresno County Sheriff Coroner identified him.
Meanwhile, the driver of the big rig truck was unharmed.
Investigators continue to work on the case and will determine fault.
