7 Injured in Panorama City Gas Station Crash on Roscoe Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 26, 2022) – Several were injured after a gas station crash on Roscoe Boulevard in Panorama City.
According to the ABC 7 News and KTLA News, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 4:45 p.m.
The incident happened when a pickup truck was towing a concrete pumping trailer in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles.
For an unknown reason, the vehicle struck three other cars and then crashed into a gas pump at the 76 gas station. The station is located in the 13700 block of West Roscoe Boulevard.
Pickup Truck Crashes Into Gas Pump
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Woodman Avenue. They found a total of 11 people, six adults and five children, who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed seven of the patients to hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The other four declined transport.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of the gas station to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Panorama City crash is still under investigation.
