1 Seriously Injured in Paramount Crash on 105 Freeway and 710 Freeway Transition
PARAMOUNT, CA (December 31, 2021) – A crash seriously injured at least one person on the 105 Freeway and the 710 Freeway transition in Paramount.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident late Friday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 10:41 p.m.
CHP determined that at least three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Paramount. They crashed on the westbound 105 Freeway to the 710 Freeway transition road.
The report described two of the cars as a white Ford F-150 and a silver Toyota 4 Runner. The pickup truck obtained major rear-end damage upon impact.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
CHP added that the SUV and the third vehicle ended up with major front-end damage. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party a hospital for treatment.
The name of the patient and their condition at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, CHP forced the 105 Freeway and 710 Freeway connector ramp to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Paramount crash is still under investigation.
