1 Killed in Traffic Collision on Long Beach Freeway Friday
Paramount, CA (January 28, 2022) – At least one person died following a motorcycle accident that occurred on Interstate 710, also known as Long Beach Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a man riding a motorcycle veered off the roadway for an unknown reason. Authorities said the motorcyclist ended up driving down the embankment near Alondra Boulevard offramp.
Shortly after 10:41 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the rider ejected onto the traffic lanes. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the collision on Interstate 710 in Paramount.
