Sanitation Truck, Car Crash on the I-210 Freeway in Pasadena
PASADENA, Calif. (April 6, 2022) — A Pasadena car accident, involving a sanitation truck, happened Wednesday morning on the Interstate 210 Freeway at Michellinda Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 5:35 a.m. on April 6th in the westbound lanes of the I-210, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a Los Angeles County Sanitation truck and car collided due to unknown circumstances. The black car overturned onto its roof during the collision on the 210 Freeway.
The Los Angeles County and Pasadena fire departments responded to the crash scene on the freeway. A man driving the smaller vehicle suffered a broken leg in the crash. Paramedics transported the injured man to Huntington Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, authorities located the truck driver who told them the car crashed into his truck.
Finally, investigators are piecing together what happened and will determine fault for the collision.
