2 Seriously Injured in Pasadena Crash at Mentor Avenue and Colorado Boulevard
PASADENA, CA (April 2, 2022) – A car crash seriously injured two people at Mentor Avenue and Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena.
According to the CBS Los Angeles and My News LA, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:10 p.m.
Pasadena police said a van and another car collided for an unknown reason near the Playhouse District in the city. The two crashed at the intersection of Mentor Avenue and Colorado Boulevard.
2 Cars Collide
The driver of the van ended up trapped inside. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and rescued the motorist from the wreckage.
Two people sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took both patients to a trauma center for treatment.
The reports did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police forced the area of Mentor and Colorado to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Pasadena crash is still under investigation.
