Elderly Pedestrian Killed in Pasadena Accident on Allen Street
PASADENA, CA (June 1, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after an accident on Allen Street in the city of Pasadena.
According to the Patch and My News LA, the tragic incident took place on Tuesday morning. Officers reported the crash shortly after 8 a.m.
Pasadena police said a vehicle struck an elderly female pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit the woman walking in the 600 block of Allen Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene near the 210 Freeway. They confirmed that the victim died as a result of the collision.
Her name remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the authorities.
Officials forced a portion of Allen Street to shut down for hours following the accident. The cause of the fatal Pasadena pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
