PASADENA, California (October 24, 2016) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run collision at Manzanita Avenue and Orange Grove Boulevard on Friday afternoon, October 21, according to Pasadena Star News.
The accident occurred about 5 p.m.
As per the article, Pasadena police said a 51-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after being struck by vehicle. She reportedly suffered head injuries.
Her name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile police affirmed that the driver, identified as 75-year-old Carlos Sanchez, did not stop to render aid and took off the scene.
Sanchez, of Los Angeles, later turned himself in and was arrested without incident for felony hit-and-run.
Los Angeles County booking records showed that he was released from custody Friday night pending his initial court appearance after posting $20,000 bail.
