Pasadena Motorcycle Police Officer Seriously Injured in Crash at Colorado and Oak

PASADENA, CA (May 28, 2022) – A motorcycle crash seriously injured a Pasadena police officer at Colorado Boulevard and Oak Avenue.

The Pasadena Star News and KTLA News wrote that the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3:15 p.m.

The incident happened on May 27 when a Pasadena police officer was riding a motorcycle in the area of Colorado Boulevard and Oak Avenue.

Motorcycle and Car Collide

A 2021 Hyundai Sonata then tried to make a left turn onto Colorado from Oak. In the process, the car collided with the motorcyclist in the intersection.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the officer who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the victim to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, police forced the corner of Colorado and Oak to shut down following the wreck. The driver of the Hyundai ended up unharmed and stayed at the site after the incident.
