Pedestrian Injured in Pasadena Hit-and-Run at Orange Grove and Walnut
PASADENA, CA (February 9, 2022) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Orange Grove Boulevard and Walnut Street in Pasadena.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the collision at about 6:51 p.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Pasadena. The driver hit the person at the intersection of North Orange Grove Boulevard and West Walnut Street.
Driver Hits Victim, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Brookside Park. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to help the victim and fled the area. Officers forced the corner of Orange Grove and Walnut to shut down following the collision.
The cause of the Pasadena hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
