1 Seriously Injured in Paso Robles Crash at Highway 46 and Union Road
PASO ROBLES, CA (April 12, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Highway 46 and Union Road in Paso Robles.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:26 p.m.
Their report log said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Arnold. They crashed at the intersection of Highway 46 and Union Road in Paso Robles.
Car Collision Near Paso Robles Landfill
CHP described the cars involved as a cream colored Mini Cooper and a white Chevrolet 1500. The pickup truck went off the right hand shoulder upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near a landfill. They found one individual who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to the hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the intersection of Highway 46 and Union to shut down following the crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
