Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Near Buena Vista Drive Wednesday
Paso Robles, CA (January 19, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Wednesday evening on Highway 46, according to KSBY News.
Earlier reports indicated a male party was seen walking in the westbound traffic lane of SR-46 in Paso Robles. When the pedestrian approached the area near Buena Vista Drive, a vehicle heading in the same direction struck the man. Officials added two other vehicles attempted to avoid the victim but have also hit him.
Shortly after 6:49 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the pedestrian lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures, the unidentified person sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained pending notification of next of kin.

Authorities mentioned some motorist involved in the unfortunate event fled the scene. At this time, detectives continue to determine personal information on the hit-and-run suspects.
