Homeless Man Hit and Killed by City-Owned Vehicle on River Walkway Thursday
PASO ROBLES, Ca (September 20, 2019) – A deadly accident involved a city-owned vehicle took place Thursday morning on the river walkway under the 13th Street Bridge.
According to Paso Robles Daily News, a man, believed to be homeless, was lying on the walkway in the area. At the same time, a City of Paso Robles utility truck was conducting maintenance under the bridge.
Officials said the truck accidentally run over the homeless man. The collision happened around 10:30 a.m.

When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found the 27-year-old male lifeless. Paramedics pronounced the homeless man dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned alcohol and drugs drugs do not appear to be a contributing factor to the cause of this collision. Further investigation on the case is underway.
