Motorcyclist Injured in Collision With Pickup Truck

February 11, 2019- According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist suffered major injuries following a collision Saturday evening.
The incident occurred at precisely 5:55 p.m. on Carmack Lane near Tuolumne Road.
According to the report, the motorcyclist was struck by a Chevy truck driver attempting to change lanes who failed to see the rider ID’d as Pat Campbell, 41, of Tuolumne.
The collision left Campbell with moderate injuries as he remains in stable condition as of Monday morning.
Meanwhile, there was no information or details provided on the involved motorist driving the Chevy pickup truck as it remains unclear whether or not they were injured in the collision.
Following the crash, a portion of Carmack Lane was shut down for nearly two hours while California Highway Patrol officials spoke to witnesses and gathered evidence.

CHP will carry out a forensic examination of both the vehicle and the motorcycle, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators determine what exactly happened.
