Patrice Damiani-Peters ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in Fountain Valley Hit-and-run
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (August 30, 2018) — Patrice Damiani-Peters, 30, has been identified as the pedestrian killed early Monday morning in a hit-and-run collision on Warner Avenue, according to the Orange County Register.
The collision took place just after midnight on August 27th. The woman’s body was found just west of Bushard Street with injuries consistent with being struck b y a vehicle. The driver fled the scene without stopping to help the victim.
At this time, there is no description of the suspect driver or their vehicle, but police are hoping someone will come forward with information that leads them to an arrest of the culprit.

Orange County Crash Investigation
A full investigation into what caused this collision is underway. The location of this fatality is at an intersection with crosswalks in all directions. Police will piece together evidence in an effort to determine what happened and to get clues about the vehicle involved. There are certainly many unanswered questions such as whether or not speed was a factor, distractions or a dangerous road condition.
